The Beginning of GSB

This is where our journey began. Gospel Schools of the Bible is a nonprofit Bible College which operated as an extension school, part of Fresh Waters Bible College and Gospel Schools of the Bible, and accredited by Gospel Accrediting Association through the First Baptist Church of Mineral Springs N.C. under the direction of Dr. Terry Wayne Preslar, President/ Founder.

The Birth of Our Calhoun Campus

Gospel Schools of the Bible here, in Gordon County, was founded and operated by Dr. Leamon L. Smith in 2003, and was granted and awarded full voting accreditation and ownership by Dr. Preslar upon moving to Boone Ford  Baptist Church and making proper application with verification of a qualified faculty for operation of a Bible College using the curriculum of Dr. Preslar. Taking place in 2012.

The Foundation Continues

In 2021 Dr. Preslar went home to be with the Lord. He and I spoke many times concerning the continuance of the college, and his desire was for it to carry on, and use his work until the return of our Lord.                                                                                                  And bless God, Gospel Schools of the Bible is doing great! We have a full faculty, have an accrediting association, and have taught many students, to aid them in the Lord’s work. Pastors, teachers, Missionaries and anyone with a desire to know more about their Lord, and that blessed old book, the K.J.B.

"Going through the degree programs has brought me more knowledge and understanding than I ever thought possible. The personal instruction is beyond outstanding. And now, as a member of the faculty, I am honored to help others continue to learn and find a profound, selfless and more fulfilling service for the Lord."
